It’s time to connect.
At Lifetouch, we love being a place where you can capture memories, stay connected to your loved ones, and build community. In the midst of COVID-19, and school, preschool, church and studio closings, we will continue to be that place where you can share, connect, and watch your kids grow up together.
You want your kids to have good memories of this time. You want them to get through this and be better off for the experience—all while keeping your community stronger than ever.
But it’s tough out there. We’ve never been through this. Many of you are working from home with kids in the house fulltime now. Schedules are unpredictable. Your work structure has been dismantled. And at the end of the (very long) day, you’re not sure you’re doing any of this right.
As a community, we’ll come through this stronger than we were before; hopefully, with fonder memories than we imagined.
Please see the latest updates from our team and we will continue to keep you informed on new information.
We hope to see all of your smiles again very soon.
School Photography Update: We continue to monitor the situation and follow CDC and government guidelines to help keep you, your loved ones and our employees safe and healthy. As a result of this ever-changing situation, many spring picture days across North America have been rescheduled to later this spring or canceled. As we reschedule picture days, we will share updates with you. If your picture day was canceled and you pre-paid for spring pictures, you will receive a refund in the next few weeks.
Prestige Photography by Lifetouch Update: Our Prestige Photography production facility has just reopened from temporary closure due to a government-mandated shelter-in place order. We will resume creating products once it has been deemed safe to do so. Orders may be delayed 2-4 weeks. Your products will be shipped as quickly as possible
Preschool Photography Update: As more Americans heed shelter-in-place directives from the government and are making the prudent decision to stay home based on CDC guidance, we have determined that it’s in the best interest of our customers and employees to temporarily pause all Lifetouch Preschool Photography effective Friday, April 3. We anticipate resuming business with Fall Picture Days in August. If any government mandates require us to be closed longer than these dates, we will follow those extended dates and communicate with you as quickly as possible. Additionally, the facility that we print preschool products in is now temporarily closed due to a government-mandated shelter-in place-order. We will reopen the facility and resume creating products as soon as is allowed by law and safe to do so. We will continue to accept orders, online preferred (we will accept cash and check but processing will be delayed), and we hope to be printing and shipping orders very soon. We will keep you updated on developments.
JCPenney Portraits by Lifetouch Update: We have made the difficult but necessary decision to temporarily close our studios with hopes of reopening Summer 2020. We know the reason you come into the studio is to capture the beautiful, authentic smiles of those whom you love and cherish – and that their health and wellbeing is your highest priority. It’s our priority, too. If you have an order in studio, you will be able to pick it up once the store and studio re-open. We will share updates as we have more information.
Church Photography Update: Out of deep respect for the core work Church organizations do in bringing communities together and caring for their spiritual needs, we are pausing the work of Lifetouch Church Photography. We are caring for and protecting our employees and communities by not asking them to interact with those who live outside their homes – and so, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel all upcoming photography programs through July. If you need assistance in the meantime, please visit www.churchdirectories.lifetouch.com and click the Contact Us button. Someone will respond to your inquiry – but please allow time for a response as our Customer Service teams may be impacted by COVID-19-related closures as well.
