What can I expect as we move forward?

By bringing these two companies together, we will have the ability to better serve all of our customers via Shutterfly’s cloud-photo management service, product-creation capabilities, mobile app, and broad product range. Additionally, as a combined company we will have increased resources to continue to invest in elevating our photography services, quality and security that you have come to expect from Lifetouch.

Lifetouch and Shutterfly share many similarities, but it’s uniquely special that we are bringing together two companies that share the mission of helping families capture, preserve and share life’s most precious moments. That’s an honor and a responsibility that we take very seriously and will not change.

No part of this acquisition will change any current contracts or scheduling. If you have a picture day scheduled, that schedule will not change. We look forward to working with you!



Privacy Policy

At Lifetouch, we know our customers care about how Lifetouch uses and shares the information we collect about them and the choices they have regarding that use and sharing. We value the trust you place in us, and we are committed to protecting your privacy as we describe in our Privacy Statement.

Did Lifetouch revise its privacy policy?

We updated our Privacy Statement effective July, 2018, to clarify how we may share your information in the context of corporate mergers, acquisitions or reorganizations. It is important to note that there are no material changes to the policy itself for our practices.

Will Lifetouch share customer information with Shutterfly?

Yes, Lifetouch may share customer information with its corporate affiliates, including Shutterfly Inc., for use consistent with our Privacy Statement. You will start to receive Shutterfly news and announcements, including special offers and promotions, directly from Shutterfly. You may opt-out of these messages at any time.

Does this include School Data?

No, as noted in our Privacy Statement, a separate privacy policy applies to websites, applications and online services that are designed for the use and benefit of the schools and school districts Lifetouch serves and the information we receive from schools and school districts to conduct Picture Day. Is there another privacy policy for Shutterfly.com?
