Selection of Recipients
Scholarship America, an independent administrative service, will oversee the selection of recipients utilizing standard selection procedures, including the consideration of past academic performance and future potential, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, statement of career and educational aspirations and goals, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Lifetouch officers or employees do not participate in the selection of scholarship recipients. Applicants are notified in late April whether they have or have not been awarded a scholarship.
Lifetouch Inc. reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of the scholarship program and to make changes at any time, including termination of the program. Previously approved scholarships will not be affected by subsequent changes to the program.
Payment of Scholarships
Scholarship awards will be disbursed in one installment — on August 1. Payments will be mailed to each recipient’s home address and will be payable to the school for the student’s account.
Recipients are required to notify Scholarship America of any changes in address, school enrollment, or other relevant information and to send a complete transcript when requested by Scholarship America.
