Two years ago I started a local film festival geared toward high school students in my hometown. The festival donates 100 percent of its proceeds to a local homeless shelter. It has been exciting to watch the event grow knowing it’s both fostering young creativity and helping neighbors in need. Nathan’s father, Jeff Pyper, is an employee of Lifetouch National School Studios, Loves Park, Illinois.
