My favorite photographs are annual family portraits that we send to family and friends. My dad and mom save all these portraits in a photo album. My siblings and I laugh and share memories when we look at these portraits. Some of them are hysterical because my mom, to carry on the tradition, sent them whether we looked good or not — our fat years, skinny years, attitude years, bad hair years, our comical side, our best or worst clothes. Stephen Nabors, Teal’s father, is an employee of Lifetouch National School Studios, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
