My all-time favorite photograph is one I took on a mountaintop in Ecuador. Waking up at 3:30 a.m., we hiked six miles in two-and-a-half hours, rising 2,000 feet to the summit. The serene sunrise was coming over the mountains in the distance. It is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Andrew’s father, Kurt Barbel, is an employee of Lifetouch National School Studios, North Aurora, Illinois.
